 Valiant
Valiant Quote: Valiant is a 2005 British computer-animated film produced by Vanguard Animation and Odyssey Entertainment, and released by Entertainment Film Distributors in the United Kingdom on March 25 2005 and by Walt Disney Pictures in the United States on August 19 2005. Set in May of the year 1944, it tells the story of a group of war pigeons during World War II. Reviews toward Valiant were mixed and largely poor. The film is based on a story by Jordan Katz, George Webster, and George Melrod, and inspired by true stories of hundreds of pigeons that helped the soldiers in the war. At the end of the film, it says that of the 54 Dickin Medals awarded to animals, 32 of them went to pigeons.

Has anyone seen it? I'm curious to read reactions. Reviews have been very poor.

A link in the corresponding thread in this forum to any of your reviews would always be most welcome...

I saw it last weekend. It was decent, but very disappointing based on the studio's past credentials. This will also bore children to tears.

I loved it! Its 2005's finest family film thus far. Yes, better than CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, MADAGASCAR, ROBOTS, etc. Its sunny, hilarious, and classy all the way.

i was forced to see Valiant, i was babysitting my 8 year old niece all morning until just now. we were very bored and went to the movies, and well...she wanted to see this and the result was good, she really liked it and me...kinda
anyways, the first 30 minutes were pretty good and actually funny, and after that half hour everything just falls apart and becomes horribly boring.
The visuals were great
