Mystical, joyous, wonky, entertaining, slightly creepy, yet rarely a dull moment. Wonderful piece of my childhood.

There is only one word to describe this movie, and that is: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
Grade: A of course.

The whole movie is too sugary, and, next to some memorable songs, there are also forgettable motifs. All things considered it's quite enjoyable, but I may recommend it to people who can't fall asleep at night.
C+ or 6.5/10

Magical and whimsical. I do love it so.

Nice classic Disney musical with two horrible overlong scenes (the animated one and Step In Time). I never previously realized how the music of Chim Chim Cher-ee is at the same time happy, yet both very sad and yearning. It might be one of my favorite Disney melodies.

 Re: Mary Poppins
Rewatched this for the new movie. It’s excellent except for pacing issues with Jolly Holiday and Step in Time. The adventures in this film also feel less directly tied to the films B plot than in the new film. My favorite scenes were actually the ones at the bank. Very funny.
