And even if not real it's about on the level of something from Scrubs, definitely not what I expected from all the raves. I'll still see it but kind of wary now. That's not from the film.

Huh? Someone above said it was the best scene from the film, I guess they were joking?
If you mean the audio, I know that's not in the film it's just commentary like on a dvd commentary track.

Yeah Hall and Oates and a quasi-dance scene like from Enchanted.

I still would not refuse this if anyone asked me to see it, but my friends are uninterested.

Yeah, if it makes it out here to the sticks, I'd go, but it's not something I'd drive for. It's not Woody Allen. It's not The Hurt Locker!

 Re: (500) Days of Summer
Is it not a spoiler? I still haven't even watched the trailer, so I don't know what info is and isn't out there. And when I dropped that same plot bite in the actual Hurt Locker thread, bradley had a spoiler-phobe freakout.

 Re: (500) Days of Summer
500 DOS
I caught this at a screening tonight and I have to say that I felt this is one of the best films I've watched in a quite some time. There have been really good films recently but this one seemed like it was on another level to me. I think this is my favorite film of this year and I can't imagine me changing that opinion regardless of what shows up the rest of the year.
I think I loved everything about this movie from the beginning introduction, the narration, the acting of the leads, the chemistry, the dialogue, the characters, the story, admitting it's not a love story, the positive feeling it leaves you with and the comedy. This movie is perfect in my eyes and I had no expectation going in other than I was hearing positive buzz about it so I wasn't skewed going into this. I even enjoyed the music sung by Zooey and the soundtrack. It was all that good and most importantly it was interesting and relevant and had a point to it all. I'm happy to have to have seen this and will actually probably watch this again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to any of my friends or co-workers and I hope they get a chance to see it too.

Definitely gets even better upon second viewing. This really is a movie that seems to connect with everyone on some level or another. So I am giving it the bump up from A- to A!
