It was Friday the 13th yesterday. That's the only reason we decided to watch it. And it was even a bit worse than I remember it. Besides the fact that the plot is utterly dumb and has the usual bunch of cannon fodder characters, it makes the worst sin a slasher can make - the deaths are boring. Well the one under the pier is good, but that's about the only good thing in it. I'm glad this reboot didn't spawn any sequels. It's best left forgotten.

Re: Friday the 13th (2009) This remains #5 in the series after VI, III, IV, and Freddy Vs. Jason.
Sure I have my enamored love of Part VIII that I need to watch every year, but this is a series hilights film that makes you realize, add the best components of 4 pretty bad films, you get a slightly ok film.
