Frenzy kills itself
Bonecrusher killed by Optimus
Devestator is killed by Bumblebee.
Scorponok lives?
Ironhide and Ratchet were being more defensive than offensive. But I mean... it was a movie about cars that turn into robots so...

I understand. my gripe is that it felt more like humans vs decepticons, not autobots vs decepticons.
Oh and starscream surviving while kicking ass = gold.

I find it funny that the only Autobot who dies is the obviously black one.

Ummm....
Jazz is actually more of a rock n roller. He never felt ghetto to me. He actually felt like an 80s "I do my own shit" rebel.

I mean, if I put on my fanboy cap here, Ironhide and Ratcher were fighting Barricade and Starscream, but mostly just trying to protect Sam. I didn't necessarily think they were weak because of that.
Poor Jazz was so small in this. Megatron couldn't have ripped poor Ratchet in two

My whole group caught that too. We thought it was kind of funny.
No wonder why Michael Bay switched the name of Brawl to Devastator. Will Barricade, Bonecrusher and Blackout it's beginning to look like a festival of B's.

I wish I was talented enough to write an action flick that revolves around an eBay auction. Would the robots have noticed if the kid's listing was at Yahoo?

funny story
the initial script was written keeping in mind that Yahoo! may actually want product placement. When Prime says World Wide Web, Bumblebee's radio goes Yahoooooooo!!!
But I don't think Yahoo wanted it.

My audience laughed every time one of the robots mentioned eBay or his username. They certainly must be happy about that product placement.

It's some good entertainment (and it truly is nothing more than that), but even in terms of pure entertainment I've seen better (like 300). Action is good, but it's pretty slow to start up. There are also many corny moments. and I don't appreciate the devotion Michael Bay has for the US army.

Why? I thought some of the army scenes were the best in the movie.

I thought this odd too. Actually the whole Jazz death was handled badly as I and probably many others didnt even realise it happened. I will need to pay more attention to the battle on my second viewing.

Don't mean to imply I feel exactly the same way but your review is quite spot on. The film is exactly how you describe it.

Still managed to be corny devoid of a plot yet entertaining unlike 300. It still could have shaved 10-20 minutes off from the movie and more characterization of the Autobots. Im still amazed at the great CGI and action sequence but the time spent on the humans could have been less comedic. Still Im giving it a B+

After all the crap the armed forces get from the damn media it's really refreshing to see the army in a good light.
