 Re: In Bruges
I only viewed this in an iPod. The comedic aspect to me, didn't work that much but the drama/thriller aspect worked extremely well. The final sequence couldn't get more intense! And of course, the location and Clemence Poesy added more to its brilliance. One of the few awesome films to what seems a dissapointing film year for me.

 Re: In Bruges
I live this movie. I really do. Its funny, poignant, enticing, and intelligent. The directing/writing is really remarkable and the performances all around are excellent. Should have been nominated rather than the awful Reader or dull Frost/Nixon. 5/5

Dull is nearly a perfect word to describe Frost/Nixon.

 Re: In Bruges
What a fantastically dark, funny script. Loved the whole thing, it was like a breath of fresh air. It reminded me a little bit of Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang in its humour, which is no bad thing at all. B+

 Re: In Bruges
This seriously is a great movie. I've watched it so many times now, and it holds up as this hilarious, exciting, atmospheric ride. It's also a good one to recommend to people because so many missed it.
I'm very excited for McDonagh's second film, also starring Colin Farrell.
