Zingy, I need a thread so I can get some opinions on a movie called Chasing Amy. I saw it on the previews before Romy and Michele's Highschool Reunion, and it looked pretty funny. I've only ever seen Jay and the Silent Bob Strike Back.

Chasing Amy is almost nothing like that movie, by the way, Mav. Jay and Silent Bob only appear for about 5 minutes in Amy, even if it is one of the film's best scenes.

Chasing Amy is probably more of a drama than a comedy, in fact.

I'm sold! I'll rent it when I make my next trip to the video store.

You can still start a thread for it Zingy.

Along with A Beautiful Mind, I presume? Heh.

Also, I forgot to recommend you How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. That's another one of my fave romcoms of recent years.

Yes, along with A Beautiful Mind. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. That's Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, right? I saw that last time I was at the video store, and was wondering if it was any good. I found out two of the things Chasing Amy is about, and there is no way I won't like it.

Do you have two more recommendations in you so I can get 5 while I'm there?

I haven't seen either of them, or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I suppose I could do all 6, as I'm pretty sure I remember that you really liked ESOTSM, as well.

No Spider-Man 2 , I see. [-X

That's cool then, I'll knock out your top 5 films of 2004 with one trip to the video store. I've obviously already seen your top 2.
