 Re: Ghost
The musical was really good. The movie is good but dated. It works largely due to Whoopi. Oh and I met Tony Goldwyn. Such a nice guy. I told him how much I adored The Last Kiss and he was touched someone was complimenting his directing work.

 Re: Ghost
Tony Goldwyn is like the most attractive "older man" (i.e. over 50) in Hollywood. Him or Scott Bakula.

 Re: Ghost
Whoopi Goldberg gives one of the most hilarious performances EVER in this movie. The bank scene is absolutely hysterical.

 Re: Ghost
Patrick Swayze looks like every modern actor combined into one person. If this movie hadn't been made 35 years ago then I would assume he was AI.

 Re: Ghost
This was pure 90s cheese but I enjoyed it alot anyways and can see how it became such a huge success at the box office. The pottery scene being parodied in so many other movies made this seem like a total chick flick but it is well balanced. Glad I finally gave it a chance. Whoopi Goldberg has been endlessly praised for this movie and its still not enough. It's instantly better anytime she is on screen.
I'll give Ghost a 9/10.

 Re: Ghost
Swayze and Goldberg have what should remembered as iconic chemistry.

 Re: Ghost
Don't think I saw it yet but the use of The Righteous Brothers - "Unchained Melody" was probably one of the most iconic songs ever in a movie.
It's also crazy that this reached #3 of all time domestic at the time of its release. For comparison, imagine a movie having a 17.9X OW multiplier opening in JULY (not Christmas). To reach #3 today a movie would have to make $815M. Ironically opened at #2 behind Die Hard 2.
