Disturbing yet powerful. As stated previously, Norton gives the performance of a lifetime. A compelling story and memorable scenes only heighten the film's effect.

Definately deserves an A+. There are some really powerful moments that doesnt feel anything like an afterschool special. Sometimes it takes a few powerful scenes to get the message across like how Norton's character changed from a cold bigot who stomped some black guy on the jaw to death till he gets raped by a bunch of white supremists in jail is where he starts having a whole epithony about his life and evaluating his own life. The other scene that is a turning point for him is when he reluctantly befriends a black guy who also seems to be his only friend is a conversation that also changes his outlook when he asked why he was in jail and the only reason is because he stole a tv that landed him 10 years in jail. To keep the review short, the ending yet short is one of the most emotional scenes in movie history and saddens you after you watch it

A+
