Wrath has better reviews and managed a higher CinemaScore. Commence shock.

He already said he was shocked. As am I. Even the other people I went with agree. This was worse. Far more boring.

I'd say it's about the same anyway, but just thought I'd point that out. And while we're at it, the audience reaction isn't that much better, except for the CinemaScore (I guess, I don't know what Clash got). IMDB has Wrath at 6.5 now (from 3,000-ish people) vs. 5.8 for Clash (from 100,000+). 52% Wrath vs. 48% Clash on RT, but Clash has like 10x more votes. So yes, still shocked. If anything, based on the numbers, the reaction should be the same to Clash (which is mostly disapproval). But hey, I thought Clash was really cool and this was highly average.

God, Clash was awful. The fact people think it was even moderately okay shocks me. There's nothing to it but special effects.

We never said it was good. Just better than this. And way more interesting/exciting.

But it doesn't do anything well. Wrath at least has decent action scenes and consistent characters.

 Re: Wrath of the Titans
You thought this had decent action scenes? I found them confusing, ugly, and poorly paced.

 Re: Wrath of the Titans
Are you guys really arguing about the relative qualities of Clash of the Titans and Wrath of the Titans? They both suck, get over it.

Piss off. This is important. Next we'll debate The Matrix Reloaded vs. Quantum of Solace.

 Re: Wrath of the Titans
The whole Matrix trilogy doesn't hold up.
Quantum of Solace sucks.
What other movies did you like? Terminator Salvation? Hancock? I Am Legend?

 Re: Wrath of the Titans
I Am Legend is very strong until the last...20 or so minutes.
I love the entire Matrix trilogy.

 Re: Wrath of the Titans
Um movies is okay in some spots...
The monster at the end looked epic but it did not do much. However the visuals at the end were epic. Could have Zeus be more powerful and fight it and such,.

The worst thing an action movie can be is boring. Wrath is boring. D

 Re: Wrath of the Titans
Clash was by far one of the worst of 2010 so Wrath is better because it is not that awful but this film is still kind of lousy. I did enjoy that they did not go as over-the-top this time but the story definitely lacked in places. Also, a lot of the effects were quite bad here and cheap.

Wrath of the Titans
This is a complete and utter abomination. Hearing Zeus say "let's have some fun" is just wrong. Then we have Greek mythology's biggest Aussie, Perseus. Worthington cannot act and has all the charisma of a table leg. The constant desperation to fill the film with jokes was a sin against screenwriting. Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes should be fucking ashamed of themselves for agreeing to be in these films. It's even worse than Clash of the Titans. Worthington, Pike, and everyone else in this dire piece of crap should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

 Re: Wrath of the Titans
Yes, it's even worse than Clash of the Titans. I couldn't believe they were making this sequel. It's so bad it actually get's funny sometimes. I'm sticking with a D for this. Clash get's a C-...damn that's too generous probably. These are no doubt one of the most back-to-back crap films ever made.

I haven't watched this since it came out on DVD, but I remember it was a decent airplane movie.
