Re: War Horse The movie was awesome in its pure awfulness. One of the worst of 2011 and certainly of Spielberg's career.

Re: War Horse Watched about half with the intention of coming back and never did, never will. It wasn't... awful, but the perposterous levels of sentimental nonsense, the deliberately slow and inspirational framing of everything, the music, ugh. No thank you. I can live without seeing more slow-motion spielberg war scenes, Ryan has satisfied that need for life and then some.
