The climax scene was really hot. But I think that's because the theater turned off the air conditioner.

Anyway, for the F&F series, I think I enjoyed this one the most.

It was stupid and I didn't enjoy it for a second but the mayhem--when the time finally came-- was reasonably well executed.

They basically remade the remake of the The Italian Job. This is passable entertainment? No it isn't.

It became a massive hit due to positive WOM. The film really broaden its appeal in almost all areas.

It still had all the characters and cars for the fanbase.

It added in the Rock to increase the testosterone lol

and they added a much bigger premise for the film which made the story much better.

I am quite certain if they continue down this path of making the series bigger and better, FF6 will likley end up like 750 WW or something crazy like that.

The best part was the crazy action scenes in the end and the fight between the Rock and Vin Diesel. It is so rare these days to see two tough guys fighting (without it looking silly) and it was very well done.

I like these kinds of film as they are very entertaining and fun.

This franchise has completely redeemed itself. I enjoyed the first three Fast movies, but the fourth was a real stinker. This one ends up being the best in the franchise. Turning it into a heist film makes all things fresh. And the vault ride scene at the end.. was a doozy. Michael Bay must be slapping himself for not coming with that first. Seems like it would've fit right into Bad Boys 2.

Just one of the most satisfying action movies in years.

The Super-Bowl spot for Fast Six really made me want to watch this again. It's unbelievable how much better this one is than the rest. Every action scene works and is as exciting as possible. The Rock/Diesel fight is perfect and the stuff at the end with the safe is just out of this world. This film is just one big fat adrenaline rush.

I love this FUCKING movie. I really do. Easily my favorite film of 2011 and probably the most satisfying action film in years. I was never a HUGE fan of this series. I liked the first one mostly because of Diesel and of course the cars. The rest were ok, but I was pretty disappointed with the fourth one.

However, this one has definitely got me hyped for Fast Six.

Re watched this again.

Fast Five

I've seen it before (and thought it was mediocre; C+) but I never reviewed it because my copy was terrible and I watched it half-heartedly. Well, I've just watched it again because Fast & Furious 6 is on everyone's mind right now, and I've got to say that Fast Five is one the dumbest, loudest, illogical pieces of shit that I have ever watched. It's riddled with problems.

I hated how everytime a scene came to an end, Vin Diesel had to give his line, then it cuts to music. It happened about 8 times throughout the movie. I suppose the movie, and the series, suffers from its title. It wants to be an action movie, but it keeps having to shoehorn in ridiculous scenes involving fast cars, and therefore they have to bend the laws of physics. It's a fucking joke.

It's just a film full of Vin Diesel spouting lines that are meaningless about "family" and some macho bullshit. Oh, and the fight between The Rock and Diesel is completely shit. It's all shot in the dark, so you cannot see anything, and there is no way that Vin Diesel would win. The Rock is bigger, more supple, used to be a fucking wrestler, taller, and would knock Diesel out with one punch. But then, I suppose that fight is just as ludicrous as having The Rock (a devout man of the law) switch sides and let a life-long criminal get away with even more crimes just because he saved his life.

For someone that cares so much about "family", he doesn't to care who he kills on the streets of Rio when swinging that vault from side to side. Hundreds of police officers must have died in that escape, and The Rock just disregards all of that because Vin "saved" his life. The film is a shambles.

The "team" are really not executed well either. None of them has special skills, and actually, any person off the street could have done what they brought to the team. I mean, what did Sung Kang actually do that was so special? or Tyrese Gibson? Apart from driving, which billions of people can do, they brought nothing to the team. The same goes for that other black guy, the two women and the Brazilians. And, in order to execute a plan like they had, I'm pretty sure they'd have had to have talked a bit more than two sentences per group huddle. Nothing was really planned at all. And the entire films' planning scenes had NOTHING to do with how the heist was finally played out.

The supporting cast doesn't have one good acting skill among them, and the only good quality about the film is The Rock and his short stint as a man of the law. Up until he forgets about the law, he is a good character, but after that point, he becomes just as shit as the other characters. And that's the main thing about this series, and quite possibly the best con of all-time; the Fast series has tricked people to root for criminals just because they kill even bigger criminals. It's absurd.

Nobody is clean in this movie. Nobody is good. They are all bad. Yet..they all live.

I just cannot believe how people so easily give this a high grade. How easily people can be entertained. The filmmakers are insulting you all by what they release as "entertainment". I'm not going to be lenient with this type of drivel any more..

The difference in quality from the fourth to this is crazy. This one is more entertaining than the first four combined. Now I'm kinda stoked to watch 6 tomorrow.

The action flows really well and the addition of Rock brings new energy that the series never had i.e. powerful side stories. The heist is done really nicely. Its definitely an upgrade from 4th movie.
