No no no no, it must be seen on the big screen. A flimsy online copy is never going to do it justice.

And damn it, if any film deserves to make money, it's this one.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't know it's not released in the UK yet. Sorry

Yeah, I have a hard time seeing this not have legs. It's such a wonderful delight, I don't know how anyone but a soulless cretin couldn't even smile or anything during it.

I have to say that my second viewing was just as great as my first. Even better was this film got a slight ovation as the end of both tiems I saw, which is great to hear outside of a midnight show.

Where did anyone say "standing ovation?" Everyone said people clapped at the end of the movie. What's funny about that? Happens all the time at my theater.

You'd have to be a kid I think - both the 5 and 7 year old we brought with us said "it was too long" and were bored senseless. Mark my words, this is the first Pixar movie that, in it's attempt to be a fantastic film for adults, forgot about it's youngest demographic.

This just barely notches past Monster's Inc to be my favorite Pixar film ever. While all their films have different strengths, I really thought the character development was fantastic here, and very well handled. This film really deserves to make alot more.

Ingenious and absolutely adorable. I want to make many babies with this movie, hard to see what else in 2007 can top it.

A+

This was also the first time that an audience actually clapped at the end of a movie in my experience. I, of course, joined them.

Kudos to Pixar for yet another great film.

A strong A.

We watched this today and it was lovely and amazing, I am so glad I got to see it in the theater.

Thank you Brad Bird.

Magnificient. Absolutely the best film of the year so far, eclipsing KNOCKED UP. Hilarious, heartfelt, and moving- this is the reason why movies exist, people. The characters are all so well-developed and written, the animation is absolutely breathtaking and the film is filled with so many great character moments and quirky visual gags that you can't help but have a huge smile on your face. Some of the themes in the film are wonderfully adult as well, especially the excellent moments involving Anton Ego, the food critic (his flashback and his very well-written critical review, which was an excellent dissertation on why critics exist and what they should do more often).

Oh, and Remy...awww, so cute. Easily the best Pixar film yet. A+

The animation gives the film the "+".

NO where near my favorite Pixar film, and just seems more likely when Disney 2D was in its heydey in the late 80s early 90s, but this is more Little Mermaid then Aladdin or Lion King.

Its solid, but unspectacular, I find that always needs to be an awesome Voice acting to give an animated film an extra edge, not so much here. Peter O' Toole was good though, actually I thought it was Ian McKellan for the longest time.

Pixar films

A+ Toy Story, Toy Story 2
Strong A Incredibles
A Finding Nemo
A- Ratatouille
B+ A Bugs Life

Havent seen Monsters Inc or Cars

MD,
How would you rank it amongst other Pixar's films?

Did you give it an A?

I was a tad clueless for a few seconds as well, thankfully the old man spotted it almost instantly.

From Magnus this is honestly the best we could hope for.

BTW does anyone have Anton Ego's end speech it was truly brilliant and I can't find it.
