makeshift makes me want to like this movie less.

A-, better than Garden State.

When I saw it in the theatre I gave it a B/B-. Now that I watched it on dvd I'm giving It an A. It was alot better the second time. Zach is awesome.

I really am unsure what this movie was trying to achieve.

I doubt I've seen a film before where the characters were so insanely exaggerated and irrational, at points I felt like I was watching an early morning soap opera just with nicer locations and more photogenic actors.

In fact maybe unsure is the wrong word to use, it does fire its themes and messages at the screen like the shell from a Howitzer its outer layer embossed in big bold writing.

I didn't know Haggis was involved in this until i put it on but by the end my temporary hearing loss and slicked back hair drove his presence home.

Its not torture to watch per say, Bilson's insanely unfair beauty is a welcome eye holder and Braff is a man I never tire of watching, but its so funny how this movie just screams I AM AN IMPORTANT SERIOUS LOOK AT RELATIONSHIPS!!! when its really just a laughable cartoon of fake people in fake situations.

Save your time and watch Eternal Sunshine instead.
