 Re: Kill Bill: Vol. 1
I think I like Volume 1 more than 2 now. The section at the end of Volume 2 with the truth serum and Superman speech doesn't really do it for me.

 Re: Kill Bill: Vol. 1
To each his own. I honestly find the last chapter of Kill Bill to be the best chapter of Kill Bill while being amongst Tarantino's best chapters. Right up there with Once Upon a Time in Nazi-Occupied France and the Golden Watch.

 Re: Kill Bill: Vol. 1
I prefer Kill Bill Vol. 1 to Kill Bill Vol. 2. I've never understood why Kill Bill needed to be split into two volumes. Revenge movies have been being made for years that have contained everything within 2 hours and have been better than the entire Kill Bill storyline.
Whenever Tarantino uses Uma Thurman, the film pays the price for that mistake. Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bill's just aren't great movies, whereas Inglourious Basterds and Death Proof are. I'm expecting good things from Django Unchained, for it to be above the Kill Bill's is all I hope for.
Kill Bill Vol. 1 B Kill Bill Vol. 2 C+

Algren, maybe it's just because it's Christmas I'm going to be so much, but I'm glad there is another huge Death Proof fan. It's one of my favorite Tarantino films. It's pretty brilliant and SO underrated.

Agreed, and I'm glad you're the other huge Death Proof fan. We needed some common ground.

 Re: Kill Bill: Vol. 1
I watched this the other day on TV, still fresh and thrilling now. Just perfect. I can't believe I used to prefer Volume 2.

 Re: Kill Bill: Vol. 1
Choosing between Vol. 1 and 2 is pretty much the hardest thing for me.

 Re: Kill Bill: Vol. 1
Vol. 2 is a lot better, imo. I'll always get bored during Vol.1.
