I learned from the best Joel Siegal who rightfully bashed and disrupted the movie with his puns

I had this film pegged in as a B, until the last 20 minutes. Not only was it funny but it was poignant as well. Smith went a little too far with some of the gross out humour, but it was still very humourous and touching. A nice way to maybe end the series. Dante and Randall are great again, and so are jay and silent bob. Very nicely done.
8/10

Very humorous "nad touching"?!? That does sound like gross out humor!

I liked it.
The first half hour or so was terrible. There was this air of patheticness (yes, I just made up that word) to it. Nothing was funny, and it was just a bunch of guys in their thirties telling the same jokes they told when they were twenty. I was actually embarrassed for Kevin Smith.
It gets really good really quickly, though. Everything after the go-kart trip was pretty fantastic. Some truly hilarious moments, and an absolutely fantastic final act in a jail cell that is easily the best scene in any Kevin Smith film ever.
I give it a B, or ***.
And because everyone else is doing it...
01. Chasing Amy
02. Clerks
03. Dogma
04. Clerks II
05. Mallrats
06. Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back

I agree with pretty much everything y0u have said here makeshift. The first half hour was lame...sporadically making me chuckle, but nothing more. But then it does pick up, quickly as you mentioned. I thought as soon as the Lord of the Rings/SW debate began, it took off from there. As for the jail scene, yes, it is one of his best scenes ever. I think some scenes in Chasing Amy are still better, but this is right up there.

The funny parts were funnier than the first one, but Kevin Smith cannot do drama. (Exhibit A: Jersey Girls) I was cringing through most of it, while at the same time, I did laugh though most of it. But the drama scenes left a horrible taste in my mouth and I walked out of there unsatisfied. So C.

Strange, i thought the drama was the strongest part of the film.

Eh, it was OK. Randal is very funny as per usual. Too much sappy stuff, though!

Oh, good, I'm not the only one who think sappy=bad in a Kevin Smith film. I'm really not much of a fan of Chasing Amy, even.

Funny funny movie. Great edition if final of the series.
My Favorite Parts:
PillowPants- I was dying
The Donkey- That was honest the grossest and most fucked up thing, yet hysterical every set of the way
Buffalo Bill- The New and improved Jay and Silent Bob were great, its nice to see that Smith didnt make Mewes pretend to smoke in this one, since he was really in rehab.
Pickle Fucker- Jason Lee was god
Jay "Two conditions, one you let us stand in front of the store whenever we want, and you dont call the cops. And two, you have to blow each other, and we watch. Then go ass to mouth." Mewes was I think his funniest in a while. What a great series indeed.
Smith films
Dogma- A+
Chasing Amy- A+
Clerks II- A
Clerks- A
Mallrats- B+
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back- B+

I have another problem with the movie.
Randal lives at home and doesn't have a car.
He's been working for 10+ years.
Even at minimum wage he should have well over 50k saved up. COME ON!! I NEED REALISM!!

Well the thing is, Randal is my favorite Kevin Smith Character. And all the sappy stuff (except for the jail cell scene) didn't involve him, and Dante just isn't that funny.

Oh, boy. This film had me in tears. From the spectacular Lord of the Rings reenactment to the PillowPants discussion to the interspecies erotica scene, I just had a blast watching it. It's just as great as the original.

He should have just given a blow job right there, that would have been better than the 4 other endings they had.
It was actually quite funny.

I had to say it here, but this is the funniest movie all year. I was waiting for a great comedy, and one finally arrives. A great time.
Grade: A all the way.

That look was so gay I thought Sam was gonna tell the little hobbits to go for a walk so he could saunter over to Frodo and suck his fucking cock. Now *that* would have been an Academy Award worthy ending.
Hobbit Lover: Hey, they're not gay. They're hobbits.

I liked it. For the first hour or so I was pretty unimpressed (the LOTR/SW argument just seemed tired, ditto any reference to internet message boards), but, it picked up towards the end. Had it not wrapped everything up so well, it'd be a C movie. As it is, solid B.

Really loved it. Coming in I was expecting something more Chasing Amy than J&SB, but I was surprised to find it hilarious, funnier than the first film in fact. Pillowpants, internet jokes, lord of the rings bashing, awesome. Loved Rosario Dawson in the female role as well.

Clerks II was decent, but nowhere near what I was expecting. It had a couple really good laughs, but it had too much dead time in between. The romance between Rosario and Dante was pretty trite and standard romance flick-ish. Also, I loved the first movie because I thought Smith nailed the life of a Clerk... or at least there were a lot of moments where I said... "that happened to me". This one didn't have that feel at all.
As a big fan of Kevin Smith, I'd say this one was a disappointment, but that doesn't mean I disliked it. I'd give it a B. The LOTR stuff earned it a B alone.
As for Smith's films, here's how I see them:
#1. J&SBSB
#2. Clerks
#3. Dogma
#4. Jersey Girl
#5. Clerks II
#6. Chasing Amy
#7. Mallrats
