Hell no on A time to Kill (unless your talking about it being the most faithful) If I had to rank Grisham films
Runaway Jury A+ The Client A+ Rainmaker A A Time to Kill B+ The Pelican Brief B The Firm C+ The Chamber D

 Re: Enemy of the State
This is one of those classic films of my childhood, but at the same time I didn't consider it among my favorites. I just rewatched it recently and it does totally hold up as a slick action thriller, the type of government spying on you has become kind of a given with the technology nowadays, but back then we were just at the forefront of it I think. Smith is great in this, rightly one of the biggest stars at the time and the film is in good hands with Scott too. I don't love the last act as much, there's something about Hackman that didn't feel right to me.

This is indeed very good. I have watched it three times over the years. Scott is at the top of his game here, and Smith and Hackman are very good. I really enjoy the fact that Smith never kills anyone in the film, he just outwits everyone.
