One of Pixar's finest film, definetely their most mature. The plot is amazing for an animated film, its never dumb or watered down. The humor doesn't work all the time, but the story and characters are so strong it doesn't matter. A great message and stunning animation are just icing on the cake.

A+ (2007's best animated film)

I saw it two days ago for about the tenth time and it is still magical. This film has gone done as one of my all time favorites.

Post Re: Ratatouille
This is a movie I constantly avoided since it's release, because I just couldn't bring myself to get excited about watching it. After being woken up at 6 in the morning by my dog, and driving to my girlfriend's house to say goodbye before she left for college :tears: , I came home and what do ya know, it was just starting. I thought I was going to be bored, but it kept me entertained throughout. That guy who told all the different lies about how he went to jail had me rolling, especially when all he does is stick his thumb out at that guy he's trying to threaten. The best comic relief in the story I think.

Overall, it was a very nice and cute movie, with some good messages, although the hair-pulling stretched things a little too far for me. I get confused when a movie is clearly fictional, but sometimes it feels the need to rationalize certain aspects but then allows other aspects to remain completely unbelievable. For me, it needs to be one way or the other, but it didn't bother me too much to lower my grade.

My #1 movie of 2007. I've had the chance to revisit it quite a few times since and it's still marvelous!

This is pretty much tied with Wall-E for me as the best Pixar movie. A great movie overall though at times there is script manipulation to give it a conflict, still a GREAT original movie.
