Mods better watch out for multiple accounts when that comes around, I fully expect 25 A's to come from Magnus' computer alone.

You're not crazy, just gay. I wish you'd stop bringing it up all the time, Magnus. Honestly, we should move on from that. URGH.

Anyways, I personally will create 48 double accounts and give the Dark Knight As. It's the Dark Knight!!!

Right up there with "The Incredibles" and "Toy Story".

This movie was so brilliant from start to finish. The animation was breathtaking, and the way they captured and look and feel of Paris was amazing. Brad Bird sure knows his stuff. I thought it was hilarious, and all of the characters were fleshed out well. Also, the voice work was done remarkably well. I couldn't even tell Janene Garafolo was voicing one of the chefs. I also really loved the message this movie had about following your dreams, and that anybody can be a chef. The flashback with the grumpy food critic was one of my favorite parts, and very random, but very effective. I also loved the slapstick humor. It's there, just like it was in The Incredibles. Brad Bird is one of my favorite directors when it comes to Pixar films. Much, much better than the overrated Cars.

A

Yep. Brilliant. Marks a major maturation point for film animation. Pixar's best, I think. Paris was so lush and romantic and dreamlike.....GOD I LOVED IT!

I've been singing its praises to every number in my cell phone for the last 2 hours.

This film has now pretty much established a new bench mark for 'universal acclaim' here at KJ. A phenomenal reception.

Oh yeah, it's also my favorite movie of 2007 so far.

It was a visual feast (how original, how many people do you think used that phrase?). I was just in awe at the animation. Everything looked great.

It was also very very funny and the voice talent was spectacular.

Yeah, it was pretty much great.

The Brad Bird break down.

1. The Iron Giant: ****
2. Ratatouille: ****
3. The Incredibles: ****

So... he's made my favorite animated movie of all time, and then 2 of my next 3 favorite animated films of all time.

I'd say that's a good track record.

On another note, the previews before the movie surprisingly not violence inducing. Sure, they were all bad movies (except Wall-E) but they didnt make me want to hurt others.

I was waiting for the deranged killer to show up in the Bratz trailer. It's a lionsgate film after all. But alas, no luck.

There was a STANDING OVATION at the end. And they threw roses.
