 Millions
Such a cool movie! Saw it a second time and just love it! The beginning of it is the best beginning I have ever seen in a movie! Its really cool. I believe the main actor too is his first time acting which is pretty amazing if you ask me! Has anyone else seen this movie?
In my opinion this movie is so unique! I always notice new things that I haven't noticed before. Its very different from most movies.

These kinds of threads can be posted in the Everyone's A Critic section. And for pete sake, when posting about a film that no one has heard, can you please tell us what it is about the film that you enjoy. Give us a synopsis or soemthing, otherwise you are just taking up space.

I like the fact that intim has seen some films that none of us have even heard of, but to just say, "this is a grewat film," and then leave it at that, it gets frustrating.

Nobody's heard of Millions?
It was a fairly high-profile limited release directed by Danny Boyle that only came out about four or five months ago.

We had this review thread over in the Over Seas and Indies/Foreign and Independent Film/Shameful Weirdos Forum...
As mentioned in that thread that I loved the first half, but the whole thing turned to shite in the concluding half...

It's one of my most anticipate rentals at the moment, actually.
After seeing Trainspotting about a month ago, I've become especially interested in Danny Boyle's work.

In your opinion what was wrong with the second half?
I loved the movie Millions and loved the ending! Greatest ending ever!
So far I watched it twice which is amazing for me because most movies I can only watch once in a pretty short period of time.

I loved every second of the movie, the ending especially with his mother. Even though I don't believe it's a holiday movie, it's a perfect one. If it's true that this kid is a first time actor, he'll have a mighty career ahead of him. He is perfect here. Every scene he is in is heart-wrenching, especially towards the end. Great film. Now I just need to get it on DVD.

It has its sweet moments and I thought the cinematography and score were quite great, but I never bought into the story. I guess it's just not in my character. I was annoyed by the young boy too.
