Great movie! Very underrated. Great comedy , as well as drama. It has a lot of heart, and some great characters. It's one of those films I could quote line after line from, and I don't know why it wasn't a bigger hit. A favorite of mine.

I watched Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy instead. Does that get me off the hook? [-o<
I promise to watch it tonight.

I liked it a lot. It wasn't wildly funny like Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy's usual, but that kinda made it better.

It is a decent dramedy with a good ending and the chemistry between Murphy and Lawrence really helps it to be above average, but overall it ain't the next Shawshank Redemption.

Unfunny(not that it's really a comedy at heart), and a real downer. Which is its biggest crime. Martin Lawrence is one of the least funny, most annoying men to ever emerge from a womb. Although I sort of like NOTHING TO LOSE.
I saw this on video right after the brilliant, should-be-a-classic Bowfinger, where I thought Eddie Murphy had really turned things around. 'Twas not to be.
