How ever many titles you come up with, Spider-Man always has more. Not to mention that The Avengers, Captain America 2 and TASM 1/2 were not influenced by TDK at all. I'm sure you can find some insignificant way of linking them, though.

CA2: The least escapist of the MCU's. Attempts to make social commentary on terrorism. TASM1: Clearly taking a Batman Begins route, though #2 seems more Avengers influenced due to its overall tone (huh, so that's why reviews were so dismal).

Yep, I was right. Someone found moronic ways of linking them.

The worst blind is the one who doesn’t want to see
TDK wins in every aspect

The worst type of blind is the one with rose-tinted sunglasses for TDK.

 Re: The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight is certainly a great movie, maybe even one of the best superhero flicks ever, a solid A ordeal, of course. But it is not the best Batman story. I prefer Arkham City.

 Re: The Dark Knight
^ I haven't seen that film yet, is that live action???
Of course there are more awesome Batman stories, but as a superhero movie released in theatres, TDK is one of the best

 Re: The Dark Knight
This movie is pretty good. I didn't really like it the first time I saw it, but I've realized that a lot of parts are pretty awesome. The script is well written , with several quotable lines, and the acting is also very good, especially by Heath Ledger. I hated this film's sequel, and never finished watching Batman Begins, and thought Batman (1989) was underwhelming, so this is my favorite Batman movie, I guess. I just wish the plot was more interesting and they removed the boring mob parts. Otherwise, a very solid, if extremely overrated film.

The defining movie of our generation. The artful blockbuster in its most pure form. I can't wait to see the internet's outrage when this misses the next AFI Top 100. I'll be right there with you!
