I'm doing the same -- I threw the Blu-ray in to calibrate my sound system, and I'm just sitting here watching the film. It's so damn good.

 Re: The Dark Knight
well it could pull a spider Man 3... (I highly doubt it)
I remember the biggest SPidey fans hating on the film after...
So do not think the fans will automatically love the film.

I don't like Aaron Eckhart in this movie. I'm not sure if we're supposed to dislike him or not. If we are, then it's perfect casting, but it doesn't detract from the fact that him being on the reel of this film makes it less appealing for me.
Fun fact: The three most reviewed movies on this site all star Michael Caine (The Dark Knight, Children of Men and The Dark Knight Rises).

 Re: The Dark Knight
If the whole of body of KJ could merge into a single being, that being would fuck Christopher Nolan in a Batman suit whilst watching Children of Men

I thought TDK would age badly, but I watched it again a few months ago and it hasn't. BB aged very well.

 Re: The Dark Knight
Nolan shot each of them in a very timeless fashion. MAYBE TDKR's incident with the cell phone. Everything else should hold up very well.

Spider-Man (and even maybe X-Men) were more monumental than The Dark Knight. What has imitated TDK since? Not a lot. What imitated Spider-Man? Take your pick from about 40 superhero movies.

As good as it is, I've always felt that it was a little overestimated.
