 Midnight Run Midnight Run Quote: Midnight Run is a 1988 American action comedy film starring Robert De Niro (in his Golden Globe-nominated performance) as a bounty hunter and Charles Grodin as his prisoner.
The film was later followed by three made-for-TV movies produced in 1994, which did not feature any of the principal actors, although a few characters are carried over from the first film.

I Love this movie. It is well acted, touching and outright hilarious. De Niro and Grodin make this movie memorable. The supporting cast is outstanding.

Midnight Run - A
Is a classic eighties movie. Loved it, Robert De Niro and James Grodin are superb together!!!!!! Wish they made a sequel..hehe

Re: Midnight Run It's pure entertainment... Great actors and chemistry, fun storyline, great humor, great action scenes. I also think the score works pretty wonderfully. I'm not sure why the reputation for this isn't bigger. I think it's significantly better than Beverly Hills Cop. Great 80s movie.

5/5 I think we are going to have to agree to disagree on the Beverly Hills Cop statement, very few comedies are as good as Beverly Hills Cops. This movie to me always seemed like Martin Brest's sequel that he never got to make, just my two cents. However, Midnight Run was a great fun movie. "These things go down, they go down!!!"
