I used to love this film growing up, This was Kevin Costner at his peak and he played a good Robin Hood, but of course it went to Alan Rickman's great performance. A-

I'm a real sucker for this movie even that corny Bryan Adams song as well. And damn but Freeman has the coolest sword in all of movies.

Re: Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991)
Watched it again last night. You really don't care Costner doesn't even attempt an English accent. Dam he was in his prime. It's a good mix of action, comedy, and drama. Alan Rickman is awesome and action holds up well.

Re: Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991)
It's too murky, too serious, and too mean-spirited, but a six-year-old yoshue was really enamored with this when he saw it at the local mall. I still see it from time to time and I rather like it all the same. But then I'm a Costner junkie from baby-hood.
