Aw Kong...Narnia has a slight shot to win the 4-day weekend now.
Fzun with Dick and Jane rebounded pretty well.
Munich - disappointing

Great for Kong and Narnia, of course.
The Ringer did very well.

Narnia is beating Kong for the weekend. Narnia is like the ultimate Christmas movie, and the drop tomorrow won't be as bad as Kong, because Narnia performs better at the matinees, and Kong's main business is at night.
Count on it.

Well, I'm glad Cheaper by the Dozen isn't doing very well.
Geisha did decent... I think.

Then again, Kong will have a much better increase on Sunday and should hold better on Monday since Christmas will be over.
Both are heading towards $30+ million for the 4-day span.

I'm not sure if I should be preparing to take my lumps now or not. Isn't that like a 43% drop for Kong? That wouldn't be bad on the weekend alone, but for Friday, and with the 24th being on today, yet with Christmas being tomorrow...

Judging by those numbers, Kong did about $5.4 million on Thursday.

Based on the crowd reaction to FWD&J last night, it should do very well this weekend.

But can it beat Narnia on both days? I really don't think so.

Technically, it doesn't have to beat it both days, it just needs to beat it by a wider margin one day than Narnia beats it the other day.

Narnia will beat out Kong today. Being that Kong is a night movie, tonight's night business is going to be awful, since it's Christmas Eve. But, Kong should beat out Narnia on Christmas and Monday.

Narnia was always going to have a good Christmas, it's a family themed Christian Christmas movie that is showing about 2 more times a day in each theater than Kong due to length.
Narnia is performing just like I thought it would since it's release... Kong is not... oh well.
I see Dick & Jane and Family Stone taking a hit tomorrow when Rumor Has It gets released.

Saturday is Narnia's, obviously.
Kong will beat it on Sunday by a margin of over $2 million, I'd say.
Monday will decide.

"The Ringer" did pretty well, considering it's been tossed around so much. I'm shocked it actually got released.
