Really curious to see how it does over the holidays. I feel like it's looking solid for $50M+ with that second weekend hold.
$15M budget, what a completely unexpected box office surprise for this month.
HG would need a 7.93X multiplier from this weekend on to get to $200M. Chances are close to nil given it's going to lose theaters to the holiday movies but could certainly make a run for $180M. HG getting to $180m would get it past IJ4 and MI7 so that would be something.

If HG follows CF's daily pattern from here on it would land at $161.4M. Considering its holding better and overall likely a lighter holiday on movies feels like it should outpace that.

Tuesday #'s
1. THE BOY AND THE HERON $1,463,447 2. HUNGER GAMES $1.2M -33.3% 3. GODZILLA -1 $1.1M -35.9%
-Napoleon $580,000 -43%
Great holds for HG and Godzilla. If they stay around long enough they'll really start benefiting from the holiday bump.

The Boy and the Heron $1,308,260 The Hunger Games $945,182 -20% Napoleon $450,000 -36% Trolls $413,125 -2%
Sensational drop for THG. Will be just under $140M going into its 5th weekend. Even with the Wonka opening and holiday movies, hopefully it has enough of a push to keep going into the new year.
Family movies are spiking up. Should bode well for Wonka.

China box office now projected to earn $105M. Got a new record Thursday for the biggest single-day performance ever by a international animated film, earning $23.7 million (RMB 171.5 million). Disney Animation’s Frozen 2 was the former record holder with RMB 167.6 million in ticket sales Nov. 23, 2019. Could get to $280M global tally. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movie ... 235867148/
