I don't really see this going below Black Widow. Idk if anyone saw this coming.

If Bond does anything above 60m next weekend we're in for a good month. Stupid WB lol if Dune was exclusive to theaters I actually think it might have surprised

Amazing for Venom 2. Should be a strong indicator of things to come for many upcoming tentpoles (WB releases aside I suppose, which will probably all disappoint to varying degree.)

Spider-Man will, presumably, open well above $100 million based on this.

Marvel continuing to show they own the box-office.

I did go too high. Probably tracking more theaters than for BW. Still an uber breakout. Walkups were phenomenal yesterday. Let us see how the day goes.

Tom Hardy now has 5 movies in a row that will do $150M+ if Venom gets there. He had a limited movie Legend but for wide releasing movies.

Venom is DEFINITELY joining Deadpool for a crossover into the MCU. They would get along great together to mix things up. :D

Could October be the biggest month of 2021?! :hahaha: This month has only ever seen 3 films open to over $56 M and all of those were 2018-2019 (Joker, Venom and Halloween).

presumably Joker.

Also, wow! I remember being surprised by the first Venom’s success as well. I haven’t seen either one yet but want to, cuz Tom Hardy can fucking get it  :wub2:

Happy for Michelle Williams too. She got paid $1,000 for 10 days of re-shoots for 2017's All The Money In The World. Remember Mark got $1.5M? :noway:

Now she supported in Venom 1+2 and The Greatest Showman over the past 4 years.

Time for her to GET PAID and make All that money in the world she's been owed!

Quote from her I saw here on deciding to star in Venom in 2018 https://theplaylist.net/michelle-williams-venom-money-20181001/:

Williams explains, “I wish there was always a clear, artistic line, but at a certain point, you have to square with the fact that you’re getting older, you live in the world and you have needs. In my twenties, I wasn’t cognizant of retirement, the housing market or college tuition; I just did whatever the **** I wanted to do. Now, I sometimes do what I want to do, but I also have to make decisions that take care of my family. So, the decision-making is all over the place. It used to be one thing, but now it’s many things.

Definitely Joker. Thanos would be in the next tier down, hanging out with Magneto, Dr. Doom, Loki, Two-Face and ole Big Bucks Lex.

We also need a third Suicide Squad just so King Shark and Gorilla Grodd can converse about birds.

Looks like the whole release date shuffle worked in Venom's favor. Opening on the 15th it probably would've opened to less. And to think if Shang Chi "disappointed" they would've moved it to next year lol

DEH $730K -77.8%

Horrendous for DEH.
