 Wednesday July 3 Spider-Man - $27M down 31%. I was expecting closer to $20M so we’re back on the right track at least.
Midsommar - $3M - seems right. Aster isn’t making any new fans with this one though so expect it to crumble quickly.

Re: Wednesday July 3 Not a bad drop at all for FFH. It might actually end up holding really well the rest of the week, although $200M still looks like a big stretch for the 6-day opening.

Re: Wednesday July 3 Looking back at 2013, most stuff stayed flat or had small increases on July 4, so Spider-Man could top $30 million today. At the very least I think it stays above $25 million.

I actually think it will hold up well just like Hereditary. Great critical reception can do wonders for a movie even if audiences hate them. Drive is another one that had decent legs. Also, July is so fucking weak. Midsommar shouldn't drop off too quickly. I think it will at least do 30 Million which would be quite impressive tbh.

I dunno, I feel like this guy has already created his niche and everyone else knows to stay clear. And its two and a half hours. Watching people get chomped will be a much more appealing option.
