Re: Previews Ant-Man ended up making 8.94x its preview numbers for the OW. If Spider-Man plays like that, it will get to $137.7M. Guardians 1's 8.42 would give it $129.7M, and Suicide Squad's multi would be $100.4M. Suicide Squad is almost certainly too low and Ant-Man is probably a bit too high, but with better WOM it could happen. Tentatively, I'd say this the weekend is looking at $115-130M.
What I noticed while looking up comps is this will be the first nine digit live action opening in July since TDKR.

Re: Previews If my theater is anything to go by this is going to be big. The 10:45am (first show) was sold out. Lots of families.
Despicable Me 3 is also going to have a nice hold.

Re: Previews That's a great number even with July some of these predictions seems WAY too low. If this plays like Marvel movies then the opening should be HUGE. I am still hoping it crosses $150m mark.
