That's about right, I think I was expecting a 5% increase or less.

Previews:

Sing - $1.7m
Assassin's Creed - $1.35m
Passengers - $1.2m

Solid for all three, though AC will be frontloaded.

Too bad about the Assassin's Creed reviews. It could have been a nice little $80-100m hit if it was even halfway decent.

Sing will do fine; heck, it might even blow up over the holiday. I'm just disappointed with the reviews - looks like it has "it could drive parents nuts" potential.

The reviews look fine...? The movie isn't annoying it's just sadly mediocre.

Pretty decent previews.

AC has fanboys that will drive frontloading up the wazoo. Passengers is probably gonna be a "grandma is here for another day, which movie should we go see?" kinda movie, so breaking $1 million in previews is pretty impressive to me.

Maybe a little but not hugely so. AC is definitely going to be front-loaded. In the end Passengers will make much more.

You keep writing this as if numerous people were claiming that $600 million is a sure thing. I will tell you what it will do, though - it will definitely pass your $515 million prediction.
