Weekend Estimates
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/ch ... =05&p=.htmVery nice drops for the holdovers. Sub-30% drop for The Boy is pretty funny but it seems like audiences are enjoying it. I was expecting KFP to do better but it's not a bad opening.

BOM: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/ch ... =05&p=.htmGood IMs all around. The Revenant even had higher Sat increase than KFP3.

That's a pretty awesome hold for Star Wars considering it lost 809 theaters. It's PTA went up from last weekend.

Re: Weekend Estimates (January 29-31)
If 13 Hours holds on to 6M+ for the weekend, it'll be the first time every film in the top 10 has done 6M+ since Dec. 27-29 2013. The last time that happened without a holiday influence was August 12-14 2011. Impressive showing of depth at least.

The Big Short has a great PTA. If it wins Best Picture, it is passing $90 million for sure.
