Horrible Bosses 2 doesn't look as good, the novelty factor is gone and the early reviews are horrible.

Re: November 26-30 Predictions Yeah I'm not really feeling any of the openers either. Penguins could go either way, but I haven't seen any marketing for it and HB2 is definitely not breaking out.
Interstellar's hold is the only thing that interests me and well the JW trailer coming online Thursday. Other than that this is going to be a boring Thanksgiving to follow.

Re: November 26-30 Predictions I've seen a ton of marketing for Penguins of Madagascar. And it looks horrible... especially after the most recent trailer. But there isn't much for families right now over the holiday. It'll probably do fairly well.

That said it will hit or miss based on its own merits. String opening and short legs are in order.

I don't feel any buzz for HB2, it just doesn't look funny. The first was fun it showed in the ads. This one not much.
There is an ad that runs at my local theater (Marcus Theaters) that has the Penguins of Madagascar dangling on ropes as if they're on a mission, advertising gift cards. I know I haven't seen the reaction to this in front of it's target audience, but before Interstellar, Dumb & Dumber To, and Mockingjay, this ad got no reaction, and it clearly was meant to be funny. I couldn't help imagining how a similar ad featuring Minions would just slay the audience.

I hope Penguins does well because Dreamworks needs a hit and also because it will dilute the market for NATM3, Annie and the other clunkers in December. The former definitely needs to end.
