There are plenty of worthy lyrics.

Damn, I just used "Rocket Man" in early August.

Who's going tonight!? Super excited. The reserved seating on the website shows that my 8 PM screening is pretty much full besides like 10 seats in the front.

I'm seeing it at 8PM in 35MM at the Regal Union Square Stadium 14 - it's sold out.

I go to that theater almost once a week. Small world!

A popular chain theater in NYC? Crazy that anyone would go there.

Anyways, waiting in line. About 150 people here already.

Have a great show!

For me, Regal isn't that popular here, especially compared to when I lived in MD. I think there are only 3 of the 100+ theaters in NYC. Also I think this is the first time ever posting 12+ years that someone goes to the same spot I do.

Nice! I live downtown so I frequent that theater a lot as well as the AMC Village and Village East, and the Angelika/Sunshine for indies - they're easily the five most convenient in the area. I usually only go uptown for a screening or something.

Anyways, my screening was sold out in the theater's biggest auditorium, and the only trailers were for Inherent Vice and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1. Reaction was positive - I'm curious about how WOM will be for it though as it's certainly not for everyone. I saw it with 6 friends and all enjoyed/loved it.

Unfortunately my theater isn't getting Laggies.

We're getting Interstellar (duh), which has 16 showtimes daily. Big Hero 6 2D has 11 and 3D 8, and we have a documentary called On Any Sunday: The Next Chapter with 7 showtimes.

John Wick is already down to 2 showtimes daily here :whaa:. Really surprising. Even The Best of Me will have one more showing than that. Must be doing poorly here.

Before I Go To Sleep is leaving after a week.

Everyone I heard walking out of the theater had good things to say. I think the film will have good wom.

The trailers we got was Mockingjay, Hobbit and Inherent Vice.

Pretty much. I just heard about it this morning. I saw posts about it on Facebook and then I get up and they're talking about him on the news. :funny:

I saw Interstellar at 7.10pm at the Regal Union Square Stadium 14. I was surprised to get a ticket five minutes before the show started. It was about 90-95% full I'd say. There was some minor clapping at the end. Unfortunately there was also an asshole who kept yawning intentionally and very loudly during some parts of the movie.

Anybody know approx. how many theaters The Theory of Everything will expand into the next couple weeks? I can't find an estimate anywhere.

I'm pretty sure it will be going at least semi wide by Thanksgiving. A theater near me is getting it that Wednesday.

I saw Interstellar at 8PM tonight. There were about 24 of us in a 214 seat theater. Trailers were for Furious 7, The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies, Chappie, Exodus: Gods and Kings, Selma and The Gambler.

I wouldn't put much stock in my screening. The theater I work at really is rarely busy unless it is a big movie or a weekend/holiday. I don't know how many people showed up for the 10PM showing, I only know there was one advance sale ticket. :P
