Re: Screen Counts and Crowd Reports (July 18-20)
Fault in our Stars only had 3 showings at my local theater this past week. Starting on Friday it is back to 5 showings, despite 15000+ screens being taken by the new movies this weekend. It passed 120M Tuesday, so it should at least be able to hit 125M even if it gets it's theaters slashed again. But it's PTA is holding nicely, so it might not suffer as bad as some other movies. Maybe it can get to 130M, or more?

I saw The Purge: Anarchy at 9:40pm. Around 75 percent full in a large auditorium. The trailers shown were for As Above/So Below, The Expendables 3, Into the Storm, Kill the Messenger, No Good Deed, and Ouija.

I saw Boyhood at 7:30pm. Sold out in a large auditorium with around 250 seats. The trailers shown were for Alive Inside, Calvary, I Origins, Magic in the Moonlight, and The Trip to Italy.
