 May 2-4 Predictions The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is going to be real interesting to predict as we had another superhero movie earlier this month.
My prediction is that it will open slightly above CA2's opening with $95.6M but it could get to the $100M mark.

Re: May 2-4 Predictions Spidey doesn't need to track equivalent to CA2 or higher. It will have a much higher families ratio which should help it get past $100m OW IMO.

Everybody might be excited for Godzilla and X-Men, but neither of them can bring in families like Spider-Man.
I still don't believe it will top $100M though.

Re: May 2-4 Predictions BGE those numbers are fine and definitely valid because nowadays Marvel is drawing in more families but its not like TASM2 is tracking way behind CA2 which in itself opened closer to $100m.

Re: May 2-4 Predictions The reviews are troubling. It does look like it will be a much weaker film than the first. Of course, that will only hurt it after OW. It will be close to getting to 100 million. I am just not sure yet.
