Both finding Dory and How to Train Your Dragon 3 are slated to open on June 17. This is obviously not happening. the week after is empty.

Seeing as how it took four years to get from Dragon 1 to Dragon 2, I have a hard time believing they can get part 3 out in half the time.

Dragon, there is no scenario in which those two open on the same day and Dory does not eviscerate the other.

They did announce both sequels at the same time, maybe they did some production simultaneously already.

Depends on the reception of Dragon 2.

Dory's boat has sailed. I expect it to fail to cross $300m.

I think Dragon 3 will move to some spot in July anything else that is in the way of these two movies will MOVE.

Some of your predictions are spotty and insane, so you can't really laugh at that.

Finding Dory at least could be something that people really want. I don't know of anyone who was dying to see a cars 2 or a monsters inc. prequel (sequel yes, but who cares about their college days?). If the trailer has an interesting setup and doesn't just feel like a cash in, i can't imagine it opening with less than 100 million and closing with less than 350 million. Especially if inside out and the good dinosaur are as well recieved as their pre cars 2 films.

Dory will forget she has to open that day.

Finding Dory should move. It will bomb anyway. We all know the rule that if you release a sequel or spin-off any later than 4 years after the original, it will flop. Finding Nemo is not that beloved. That whole rollercoaster ended long ago.

Expect Planes numbers.

Did you know Finding Nemo is the best selling DVD of all time???; also, it's very common to see how most people put it as their favorite pixar film in many lists.

Toy Story 2 came out 4 years after the first TS, they waited 11 years to release TS3, Cars 2 had 5 years of difference from the first movie and MU released last year, 12 years after MI and any of them was a flop, furtheremore Dory is one of the most beloved pixar characters and has almost 30 million fans in FB, the highest for an animated character.

I'm sure you know the meaning of the words 'bomb and flop' and this film won't be defined by those terms, even if it sucks it will still make 150m+ (more than Planes), now I really doubt your knowledge in BO if you ever had one.

Yes, it is now obvious that How To Train Your Dragon 3 will not be a very big hit and could miss 250 million if it doesn't get the eff away from Dory.

The third Dragon film won't make 250m regardless of its release date.
