Screen Counts and Crowd Reports (December 6-8)
What I feel I can't say But my love is there for you any time of day But if it's not love That you need Then I'll try my best to make everything succeed
Tell me What is my life without your love? Tell me Who am I without you by my side?

My theater is also getting The Butler back. I guess that's our requisite post-Thanksgiving prestige re-release?

Out of the Furnace opened today at three or four theatres, including the AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 in NYC and the ArcLight in Hollywood.

Re: Screen Counts and Crowd Reports (December 6-8)
Saw Love Actually tonight at 9:30. With it being a weeknight, kind of late (for a weeknight), and being under a windchill advisory, I am seriously surprised there were 9 other people there. Counting my friends and I there were 13. I really expected us to be the only ones there. A pleasant surprise. Hopefully it did well enough to return next year. They should just give this a wide re-release some holiday season.
Oh, and I saw it in a 300-seater. Screen was a very nice size. Glad it wasn't stuck on one of the dinky ones.

Re: Screen Counts and Crowd Reports (December 6-8)
I saw Out of the Furnace at 7:30pm; around 90 percent full in a mid-sized auditorium. The trailers shown were for American Hustle, The Invisible Woman, Lone Survivor, Need for Speed (ugh), and That Awkward Moment (ugh).

Well, we only see movies on Saturday, and the next several weeks have other films we want to see, so we decided to see Frozen again before possibly missing it. And my hometown has one single screen theater that shows 1 movie a week (or two/three if it's popular), so there wasn't much of a choice. I think it played for almost a month.

Re: Screen Counts and Crowd Reports (December 6-8)
Quick story.
I checked movie times on the MovieTickets.com app AND the Flixster app on Saturday morning. The plan was to see Ender's Game at 10:50AM. It's still in a few theaters near me, so we went up to the theater and arrived at 10:40AM. I go up to the ticket desk and say "Two for Ender's Game at 10:50 please". She looks at me confused and says the next showtime is at 5:20PM.
I look up to the board, and she is correct. So we quickly decided that we could get into the 10:40AM showing the THG:CF.
So after the movie I checked to make sure I wasn't crazy, and I'm not. BOTH apps had the wrong showtimes for it.
