 No guts no glory - Box-Office calls for summer 2013 Star Trek into Darkness' performance reminded me that we haven't done these in a while. Imagine how great a prediction it would have been if someone had said that STID would open to less than its predecessor over the three-day weekend?
Anyway, let's do the rest of the summer. Gutsy calls for domestic box-office only!
Mine:
1. Fast & Furious 6 will top $250 million
2. World War Z won't reach $110 million
3. The Heat will gross more than $200 million
4. Despicable Me 2 will gross $100+ million more than The Lone Ranger in total
5. Red 2 will open bigger than R.I.P.D.
6. 2 Guns will become Denzel Washington's highest-grossing film
7. Kick-Ass 2 will top $80 million
8. You're Next will open to $25+ million
9. Grown Ups 2 won't get to $100 million
10. The Heat and White House Down will combine to more than $100 million in their opening weekend
