HOLY CRAP! I told you this movie would do either a LOT better than the 99.9% average prediction of $20-30 million, or a LOT worse. Check it out, I said it.
Okay, enough gloating, since I was too chicken to say it would do that well. Most likely will drop throughout the weekend, which will suck.

Wow, that's awesome. I doubt it will crack $40 million for the weekend, though.

The Grudge made The Ring's opening weekend in one freakin' day! Wow!
Surviving Christmas, burn in hell. Same for you, Huckabees. You all killed my derby! Team America's drop was okay, and expected. Nice drop for Shall We Dance? and Shark Tale.

The problem with Surviving Christmas is... IT'S NOT EVEN THAT TIME OF YEAR YET, when you first see a Christmas commercial, you notice the air is chillier, and people start to gradually talk about Christmas more. It's usually after Halloween that this starts. I say it would have done better with a November launch.

Wow at The Grudge, should make a little under 40 million, NICE. 100 million still isn't a lock however, the legs could be horrible.

And I thought 9.5 for Survivng Christmas was a low prediction. :?
Looks like The Grudge is gonna have 35+ weekend.

I thought a little more than it got would be good, but $1.4 million? That is really horrid.

I say your Grudge is right. Surviving Christmas will probably achieve $4.2 million. Oh wait, you said Nebs. My bad. Well, those are my thoughts anyway!

That is horrible. I hope it doesn't do THAT bad. It's a possibility, though.

I predicted in another thread that it would be the first movie to make 40+ and not make 100 total. I stand by that, though personally I wouldn't mind if it made more, but it's just a prediction.
