I wonder if the ellipsis is foreboding or just mark66 being mark66... ;)

Does anyone else think this can do 350+ overseas. Very promising starts.

The opening will be big but I don't think the WOM will be any good. Its a pretty good start in Singapore considering it had to contend with Jack Neo's Singapore comedy Ah Boys to Men 2 sequel to one of the biggest Singaporean made movie hits in recent time.

I am thinking $300m OS.

Bruce was supposed to come to Moscow, which seemed like the most logical thing to do, but had a last minute change of heart and went to London. Huge mistake. Could have easily added 25-30% to box-office.

Still 0 reviews........ that's a very bad sign for its quality.

That's ridiculous! Set the entire film in Moscow and then don't even come to the premiere there??

Having seen it I am sure the WOM is not going to be as good on this one specially when it is coming of the previous one that was well liked.

That's exactly my point. Why did the studio want an embargo? Because it knew that the film would be panned.

Yeah, the film was shit. It was my way of saying without hurting the embargo. Shit shit shit.

That's great number but this is the opening. I believe the holds will be terrible.

This was watered down to PG-13 in Singapore was that the same case elsewhere?

Nice hold, I'd say it has a good chance to do 240 or so. Is it not getting released in China?

Even domestically isn't bad, its doing better than other R rated films post Presidents Day, it's just not a good weekend for multipliers usually.

The hold was not particularly nice, considering it opened in a few new markets. Don't think it's hitting $240m. It'll likely end up with slightly over $200m ($215m), unless it does really well in China.

So this is clearing up $200m OS now for sure. Should have cleared $300m OS IMO if the movie was any good.

It's getting released here on 14th March. I cannot wait. It means that I do not have to travel to Hong Kong, I just hope it's not cut too much here.

It is annoying how much Fox has cut and the worst is how they cut it. Here in Singapore people were complaining about the theaters sound problems when in fact Fox just decided to "mute" the curses for longer than expected time in a really bad way.

Mute in a cinema! LOL. Jesus, I hope it's not like that here. I'm sure it won't be. 99% of the audience wouldn't understand it anyway.

I'd say that is a decent hold for DH5 considering Jack was released in quite a few markets and Oscar movies getting all the attention. There is a still a very good chance it makes more than $250m and crosses LFDH's $249m OS total.
