 Re: Tuesday Numbers (Nov. 20th)
Need to see official numbers yesterday it was way below $10.4m ERC number. But it is kinda weird pattern. Biggest Monday drop and biggest Tuesday jump (BD1 was already in the same big Tuesday era).

Yippy. I don't understand how this is being regarded as the best of the series. It is borderline terrible.

 Re: Tuesday Numbers (Nov. 20th)
Twilight has 49% on RT, as does Eclipse. New Moon has 27%, BD1 has 24% and BD2 has 47%.
I'm not overly surprised, but did expect more for each one. I understand that BD1 isn't as good as the others, but it's no where near 24%. It's 4/10 at least!

And I've never gotten the bad rep the franchise has gotten for bad acting. It's not terrible and everybody has different moments where they shine. They're not great movies, but the majority of them are at least entertaining and fun.

It's $5m ahead of Eclipse after 5 days and it's going into a Thanksgiving weekend where it will come out of it near $230m after only 10 days ( Eclipse was at $214m after 10). It's growing ahead of Eclipse, which means it will outgross it by about 12% = $325m

I like the movies, but even I can see the bad acting a mile away. But that doesn't really matter to me because of the other positives as you mentioned.

Best case scenario I could see is $305m or so.

 Re: Tuesday Numbers (Nov. 20th)
Best to check again after thanksgiving because that will determine whether it hits $325m or not.

You sit there, munch on your popcorn, and occasionally focus on the random screen images and bombastic soundtrack. They are bad movies by any measure we have. "I like them" doesn't make them any less awful. I like Judge Dredd. It's still a shit movie.
