Current admissions total in Germany is 7,088,608. That makes it the first movie since Avatar to pass 7 million admissions in Germany.
Among the biggest movies in Germany since 1968 Intouchables ranks as #37 admissions-wise. That puts it ahead of:
The last three Harry Potter films Home Alone Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl Madagascar All Pixar films (except for Finding Nemo) The Da Vinci Code
By the end of the next weekend, it will probably be at #33, having passed Dead Man's Chest and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
It will take a long long time, but it could break into the Top 25. I expect it to play in many theatres until fall and make a killing in open air screenings if the weather plays along this summer.

Re: INTOUCHABLES (INTL) $292m and counting...
Its chances to pass $400 million worldwide are quite solid now.
I hope it will get over 150,000 admissions this weekend in Germany. That'd be so terrific. I am stil sticking with my 8.5+ million admissions projection.

I wonder why BoM is ignoring dutch grosses. Screendaily said it increased by 35% on 2nd weekend with nearly 90,000 admissions by now.

It has a chance to stay in the Top 10 until mid-May or so. I wonder how many more 100,000+ admissions weekends it can deliver. I am not projecting it yet, but if the weather plays along then I wouldn't even rule out 9 million admissions.

I actually think $10+ million isn't impossible for it. I could easily see a Dragon Tattoo-esque run for it if WOM is similarly strong as it's been elsewhere

US trailer:
Very smart and effective trailer. If the Weinsteins don't bury it (Not impossible, as they own the remake rights...) I really think an art house run similar to Dragon Tattoo, Once or The Visitor is possible.

Apparently it is looking at a very sizable increase this weekend in Germany, targeting 190,000 admissions.
Should pass 8 million admissions before the end of April.

I think Djimon Hounsou is too old now, turning 48 this year. Maybe Derek Luke or Anthony Mackie...
If his head was totally shaved, or hair was dyed, you would never guess he was that old.

I uploaded the table. See if you can spot anything missing. I couldn't find any admissions total for Netherlands.
By the way, it increased in Taiwan in its 2nd weekend by more than 100%. $73,515 2nd weekend (+108.4%)
