Machine Gun Preacher should have been given a wide release. The slowly-expanding indie release was completely wrong for this type of star-driven action picture.

Solid for both the openers. Real Steel did great and Ides of March not bad as well.

Holdovers didn't do as great, but given that the openers doing much better this was expected.

Though I would say those are kinda generous Sunday estimates
