That said, that would be very strong for Green Lantern and decent for Popper's Penguins (although I have a feeling the latter will come in higher than that, we'll see).

Re: Early Friday Numbers That would be a GREAT opening for GL if it sticks. Looks like reviews didn't affect it too much at all and suprisingly from what I have heard so far it isn't that bad of a movie. Atleast the buzz isn't TLA bad and at the very most it's passable entertainment. Competition could easily end up killing in the upcoming weeks, but it might still reach $150M.

I personally though the movie wasn't any worse than Daredevil or Fantastic Four, so I can't see WOM being completely toxic. Even the first FF came close to a 3 multiplier....
