Re: April 26-28 predictions
Should be a fun weekend. Lots of stuff going on in pop culture [Endgame, TSwift new single, GoT episode 3] I think Endgame OW range will be 293-205.

Re: April 26-28 predictions
i feel like Endgame has less competition than IW had last year too. almost like what is the max 1 movie can make if it were the only movie in theaters

Endgame is everywhere. My official OW number is 291m but I'm now thinking of going with 300m+

I don't want to get sucked into the hype of this movie so easily, but as more time is going by I am getting more and more convinced that this is going to cross that $300M mark. If any movie is ever going to do it it has to be this one.

So how many thousands of theaters will Hellboy lose? Got to be at least 2,000.

Re: April 26-28 predictions
It's amazing how the theatre estimate for Endgame is just casually set at 4,600+. It won't be long before movies are getting 5,000. I remember a time when 3,300 was a lot, and considered a very wide release. Now I guess that would just qualify as "eh, normal".

Would be something if CM somehow claims #2 for the weekend.

Re: April 26-28 predictions
Yeah, I wonder how much of an effect Avengers will have on CM. Clearly it had a big effect last weekend with the anticipation. This weekend it will have drive-ins as well. Spillover from sellouts could happen too. Could even increase again.

Black Panther had a -4% decrease when Infinity War opened last year, and CM is three weeks newer and even more tied to this new Avengers movie. Could end up having one of the biggest eighth weekends of all time.

Re: April 26-28 predictions
It should be able to rank in the Top 16. I'm hoping it inches closer to Top 10.

Re: April 26-28 predictions
With how full theaters seem to be for the whole weekend 2nd weekend drop should be pretty solid.
I'm gonna go with $66m previews. Yowza.

What trailers did everyone get with Endgame? Not seeing it until Tuesday so I'm curious.
