Nice for Wolvie and F&F.
Well actually I'm looking at this pretty blindly since I don't know how much is good.

You can compare those numbers with 2008 figures in the first post of this thread...

Yup, saw that after I posted.
Do you have data for any other years?

Unfortunately no, I only started to take a closer look at the Canadian B.O. in 2007...

One fascinating aspect is: The Canadians have a much more European taste than the U.S. citizens. Meaning that films like JAMES BOND or LORD OF THE RINGS or MAMMA MIA! which were proportionally much bigger in Europe than domestic were also much bigger in Canada... (and Tyler Perry seems to be as unknown in Canada as he is in Europe)

That's pretty soft... Usually Canada amounts to 8-12 % of domestic and this is just 4.2 %...

Yea, but it opened very weakly. This is a great hold for it here.

Well I think its because this is a movie about the Smithsonian Museum (ie. May not interest Canadians as much).

A large opening, and the opening weekend is mighty impressive.

Below Spider Man 2 which got 15 million over the 5-day and ROTK with 14 million however with near 14 million should end up over 30 million and will have a great fight with Hp6 for the crown.
