Re: Canadian B.O. 2009 (AVATAR drops 3 %)
Avatar demolishes all records in Canada grossing 14 million dollars over the past week in Canada.
Avatar posts its biggest weekend yet in its third weekend with a gross of 6.41 million up from 6.05 million 2nd weekend and up from opening weekend off 6.26 million.
Avatar gross is the fastest grossing in living memory getting 33.32 million becoming the biggest movie of the year. It is faster thank ROTK and is just a few hunderend thousand dollars behind TDK.
Avatar looks certain to go to 50-60+ million to become one of the biggest films of all time in Canada.
Avatar is now at par with TDK, however TDK collapsed after its 4th weekend and Avatar should surge ahead, however TDK finished with 51 million.
Avatar is now the biggest film of the year in only three weeks and should become the biggest film since ROTK...
