This is my last update for the next couple of weeks, maybe someone else wants to update this thread while I'm on vacation...

Re: Canadian Box Office 2009 (FD4 153 % better than H2)
Tf2 beating Hp6 is an upset.
Hp6 underperformed here greatly, it is the 2nd worst run (worst is POA with 26 million).
Wierd how GOF did like 35-36 million and the OOTF blasted past 30 million and Hp6 did worse.

Re: Canadian Box Office 2009 (MJ on top)
Can this be really true that HALLOWEEN II is ranked No. 3???
EDIT: No, it must be LAW ABIDING CITIZEN, which ranked No. 1 last week...

Re: Canadian B.O. 2009 (TBS No. 3)
So twilight has had much better drop in canada compared to us. I guess that is quite normal.
Mark, I wanted to ask totally unrelated question to you. Any ideas of potential of Avatar in germany? Would it make it into Top 5 for the year.

I have it in my december forecast at 4.5m admissions but most people in my forum tell me that I'm too optimistic... http://www.insidekino.com/Vorschau/VorschauDEZ09.htm

Re: Canadian B.O. 2009 (TBS No. 3)
Thanks mark. so even $45M is being too optimistic. It does not look like movie is going to do that well in europe. It is probably dependent on emerging markets to make at least 400M OS.

It will likely hold well in Canada and likely finish with around 25-26 million.
