wow over 3100 that's pretty good, the highest count for a horror in 2009, although the remake of Halloween had almost 3500.

How so? And who says it's up to the studio? Maybe the 90 locations dropping it weren't doing that good with it?

I expect over 2,000 when actuals are released. at least 2300 as that seems to be a common thing this year with The Unborn and The Uninvited getting just over that benchmark.
